Ensuring the Voices of PEI’s First Nations Are Heard

As part of the Assembly of First Nations (AFN), our office represents and advocates for the interests of First Nations in Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), both regionally and nationally. We also contribute to national advocacy efforts for all Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Our Work

Advancing the Issues That Will Shape Our Future

Our work involves advancing issues that reflect the rights, priorities, and self-determination of PEI First Nations, from treaty rights to clean energy, climate change, economic development and many other pressing areas.

In partnership with First Nations leadership, community members and advocacy groups we’re committed to making meaningful changes in policies and programs that will positively shape the future for generations to come.
